It is finally here! The first episode of Trend Report, the podcast that will help you be a step ahead of your local boutique. If you have ever wondered how a boutique is ran, how decisions are made, or how to stay up to date with trends- this is the podcast for you.

Shawn, the owner of Skipper Belle takes time to do an interview over the phone. In this episode she will give us an exclusive look on how she juggles being a full-time elementary school teacher, while being the only person running her online boutique.

Shawn always had a love for fashion. Her friends and family always went to her for tips on their clothes. With her love for fashion, she began small with buying clothes from China. She started small and sold in groups including friends and family.

After finding out she could get better quality of clothing by going to market, a wholesale trade resource located in Dallas, Shawn began her boutique.

With Skipper Belle being starting only two years ago, Shawn is the only person running her business. Owning a boutique itself is a major time commitment. Shawn is finding a way to juggle having a full-time job, having a family, and keeping up with her boutique. Right now Shawn plans on balancing teaching and her boutique, however she does want to eventually hire help.

In this episode, we will hear how Shawn balances her day to day, how she got the idea to start her boutique, how her strategy behind choosing her merchandise, and how she came up with the name of her boutique.
