Our story begins with Jeff and Jackie Savell.

Dr. Jeff Savell is Vice Chancellor and Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Texas A&M University. In this episode of Lovely to Meet You, we will get to hear from Dr. Savell on moments that stuck out to him during the period of his life when he was chasing the woman of his dreams.

It started in grade school and the turning point of their relationship centered around a Dallas Cowboys game.

The Importance of Investing

Investing in things is vital to our everyday lives.

What do you invest in? Personally, I enjoy investing my time in people and the relationships around me. This is a common thread between my family. Both my parents and grandparents have been examples of what consistency, support, and respect look like within a marriage.

Investing in the people around you also means knowing them on a deeper level. So often, we can get caught up in the politics of making our own name known.

The Other Side

This episode we will be getting to hear from Mrs. Jackie Savell on exactly how she and her husband met. It is interesting to see where their stories align and differ.

How did Jackie perceive Jeff when they first met? Did she know instantly that she was going to marry him? Is there a moment that she vividly remembers during their season of dating?

Jackie provides us with some great advice and lessons on how to look at life and love. The investments she has made within her life have given her quite the return. I am confident in saying that Jackie Savell was truly someone who was lovely to meet!
