Hey Fashionista’s!

Thank you for tuning in once again to the second episode of The Fashion Bible Podcast!

I have brought along my sorority sister and close friend Grace Price as my guest on todays episode. Graces favorites places to shop are TjMaxx, Express, H&M and Dillard’s. She would describe her style as trendy casual and she likes to look cute, but comfort is most important.

In this episode we are going to talk about how to find cute affordable clothes talking all about trends.

As college students who are in sororities we often have to find new outfits at the drop of the hat for certain sorority events and our personal lives. When I am short on time and need something cheap I go to TjMaxx or Marshalls. It can be hit or miss sometimes especially depending on the location you are at. But for the most part you are able to find something to work with. If you are looking for business casual attire the best and cheapest option is ether H&M or Forever 21.

They offer a wide variety to cater to everyone’s style and are also very size inclusive. Items that are trending right now would be the Marc Jacobs camera shot bag, Golden Gooses, Lululemon fanny pack, Statement Earrings and Stoney Clover to name a few. If you are on a budget and looking for Stoney Clover they just launched a collab with Target but it is nearly sold out everywhere so you will need to wait till the restock. If you aren’t wanting to wait though you can order a bag off of amazon and the letters from Etsy or Amazon. Pictured is Grace in one of her favorite outfits, it is trendy yet comfortable!

Hey fashionistas!

Our first episode of The Fashion Bible Podcast launches today, and we couldn’t be more excited! Firstly, I would like to thank you to all my listeners for joining me on this journey. In this episode I brought along my sorority sister and the president of our chapter Presley Wirebaugh. Us both being part of the sorority scene at Texas A&M we have a bit of a different point of view since our sorority is a professional agriculture sorority. So basically, we are country girls wearing golden gooses, which pretty much sums up most girls in SEC schools.

I am sure you are all on tik tok and remember the viral sensation of Bama Rush this past August. Freshman at SEC schools like Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and other schools documented each day through a mini vlog. Usernames like @dollypartonwannabe, @whatwouldjimmybuffettdo and @haygoldenrayofsunshine were the most popular and have each gone their own ways now. The typical vlog started off as saying what round of rush it was and titled OOTD (outfit of the day). The girls would then tell us where each part of their outfit was from and sometimes tag the stores/boutiques in the captions. It was done subconsciously, and they soon started becoming brand ambassadors for boutiques and would receive merchandise in the mail and make tik toks about what they got.

To give my listeners a little background I want to give a brief description of how I would explain mine and my first guest Presley’s style. I am from a small town outside of Austin, Texas so I have always been a city girl for the most part. My favorite places to shop are Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, Giddy Up Glamour Boutique, TJMaxx and ASOS. I love to keep up with the trends, but I also love timeless fashion. Presley’s favorite places to shop are Sabi, Threads and Giddy Up Glamour. She would describe her style as preppy and colorful. She enjoys accessorizing with headbands, statement jewelry and pieces with vibrant colors and unique fabrics.
