If you decide to make College Station, Texas your home, make sure you do your research on housing.

There may or may not be some apartment complexes that are known for not accurately caring for their residents.

In this episode, journalism student Hannah Jones shares her worst roommate experience. And she’s had quite a few while living in an apartment complex that is pretty well-known for its bad hospitality.

Hannah goes in depth about her roommate experience during the fall of 2021 and also gives some advice to others who may be going through the unfortunate circumstance of having roommates from hell.

The orange tabby cat to your right is Pumpkin. Hannah decided to raise Pumpkin as her own due to Pumpkin’s malnutrition from his previous owner (AKA Hannah’s roommate).

Pumpkin was a foster kitten from the Aggieland Humane Society when he was just two weeks old. Hannah has now had Pumpkin for three years!

Check out episode 1 of Roommates from Hell to hear about Hannah’s living experience with random roommates!

When thinking of bad roommates, you probably think of someone who is obnoxiously loud and inconsiderate. They probably choose not to wash their dishes or throw away the trash.

How about those roommates who continue to steal your food and never take their clothes out of the washer and dryer? We all hate those types of roommates.

Well, combine those qualities and make it 100 times worse. That was the case for room number 1221 at a beat-up apartment in College Station, Texas.

In this episode, I talk to kinesiology student Vanessa Garcia about her bad roommate experience during the fall of 2022.

She gives us the run-down on her semester-long battle with a randomly assigned roommate. Vanessa also shared her life after the nightmare and a post-roommate experience reflection.

The dog to your left, Cowboy, is one of the few animals who are saved from owner abandonment. Vanessa took Cowboy under her wing and they have been inseparable ever since.

Watch episode 2 of Roommates from Hell to learn more about Cowboy and Vanessa’s journey!
