Being in your 20s is a hectic time. With so many life changes coming so fast, no one knows what to expect next. You’re not a child, but sometimes you still feel like you. Half of us could not tell you what the purpose of an IRS form is. Finding your lifelong partner feels harder than it should be.
On this episode of “In Your 20’s’, Lyndi Harris and guest Caroline Jurecka talk dating. From the awkwardness to the expectations to the disappointments, we get into how difficult it is to successfully date in this day and age.
Being in your early twenties, there is this expectation and pressure that you have to find your person now. Once you’re out of school, your chances are slim to none.
However, with the progression of this generation, dating isn’t impossible. It’s just different though it definitely feels impossible at times.
From someone with very limited experience and someone with years of experience, we both feel like every expectation is too high for men to reach, but after discussion, our standards feel like the bear minimum.
