For all of those hopeless romantics or maybe people trying to learn the do’s and don’ts of love, My name is Morgan Marburger and for years, I have loved getting to learn about how people met their spouses. The way that each couple recalls oddly specific details, or maybe doesn’t remember them at all. I have found that people often show a different side to themselves when speaking about love. It is almost as if in the book of your life, that person is a co-writer. Lovely to Meet you is a podcast series that helps couples tell the story of how they met.
The Importance of Investing
Investing in things is vital to our everyday lives.
- Investing our money
- Investing our time
- Investing our effort
What do you invest in? Personally, I enjoy investing my time in people and the relationships around me. This is a common thread between my family. Both my parents and grandparents have been examples of what consistency, support, and respect look like within a marriage.
Investing in the people around you also means knowing them on a deeper level. So often, we can get caught up in the politics of making our own name known.
“Friendship is the instrument by which God reveals to each of us the beauties of others.” — C.S. Lewis
Learn the beauties of others and invest in the people around you. They could change your life.
The Other Side
This episode we will be getting to hear from Mrs. Jackie Savell on exactly how she and her husband met. It is interesting to see where their stories align and differ.
How did Jackie perceive Jeff when they first met? Did she know instantly that she was going to marry him? Is there a moment that she vividly remembers during their season of dating?
Jackie provides us with some great advice and lessons on how to look at life and love. The investments she has made within her life have given her quite the return. I am confident in saying that Jackie Savell was truly someone who was lovely to meet!
