Find out with me as I book club the first three parts of Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and figure out if The Crows are up for the task.
In episode 1 of Lit Talks with Lauren, a book club podcast, I will be following The Crows into the dark alleys of the barrel. You can read along with me while we dive into this power hungry world. I will discuss theories, plots, and world building with my good friend and fellow bookie Mandi.

Mandi has been reading and exploring books since she was young. She recently finished the Shadow and Bone trilogy in the Grishaverse world. She also watched the first season of the TV show released on Netflix by the same name.

Mandi and I will also discuss the parallels between the book and the TV adaptation (trailer). We may even explore some characters in other books within the Grishaverse!
We will learn about Kaz Brekkers tragic past and what led him to be called “Dirtyhands”. And the mysterious Inej Ghafa, better known as the Wraith, and her journey to freedom and redemption.
Don’t forget Jesper, Nina, Wylan, and Matthias and their secretive pasts and plots. All that ties The Crows together could help them accomplish the greatest heist the world has seen, or send them crumbling.
