Warren “Country” Weidler, 1982

Welcome to After the Tone. Your host, Bee, will dive into the minds of first responders and their families. Join her as she interviews her first family from Austin, Texas.

In episode one, Inside the mind of a Firefighter, we hear from Warren “Country” Weidler about his 30 plus years in the fire service.

Country will talk about his hardest calls in the Austin Fire Department, how he dealt with them, and how to not bring work home with you. As a first responder, Country says “you try to make a bad situation, better. Then you go home and hug your family a little tighter”

So, join Bee on this journey to figure out what made Country cut out to be such a great firefighter, husband, and dad.
